Marcell’s Profile

My passion for teaching comes from a love of all things connected to my culture and heritage. As a 2nd generation Latin American, I've grown up with family elders who have taught me about the ways of my ancestors from an early age. From traditional cooking to raising cattle, I am lucky to share these cultural teachings with students yearning to connect with the past while having fun in the process.

I've been very lucky to have students and families who have shared my passion for learning ways of the past. For those who have difficulty connecting with the material, I find ways to relate their interests to every day life in order to make the connection between their passion and the skills we're developing.
